Original Grant Scheme
This was announced towards the end of March and provides a grant of 80% of three-months average trading profits for those eligible to make a claim, capped at £7,500 in total

By 31st May 2.4 million people made claims for grants totalling £7 billion but there are still around 1 million individuals who have been identified as eligible who have not yet made a claim.
The deadline for making a claim under the original grant scheme is 13 July 2020.
Extended Grant Scheme
An additional grant will be available providing an additional 7o% of three-months average trading profits, capped at £6,570 in total.
This will be made available through an online service during August 2020.
Eligibility and calculation criteria are expected to be the same as for the original grant, with the exception of the reduced percentage and capped amount.
